Privacy
What we collect, and what we do with it
Short version: we collect what a card shop needs to buy from you and ship to you. We don't sell it, we don't trade it, and we don't hand it to advertisers.

What you give us
- When you ask us to buy a collection: your name, email, phone number if you give one, and whatever you tell us about the cards.
- When you mail cards in: the same, plus the list of cards you're sending and whether you want cash or store credit.
- When you buy singles: your email and shipping address, and what you ordered.
- If you make an account: your name, email, and a password we store only as a one-way hash — we can't read it, and neither can anyone who steals the database.
Payment cards
Card numbers never touch our servers. Checkout happens on Stripe's own payment page; we get back a confirmation, the last bit of billing detail Stripe shares, and your shipping address. Stripe's handling of your card is governed by their privacy policy.
Cookies
Three, all of them functional:
- One keeps you signed in, if you have an account.
- One remembers the buylist you're building.
- One remembers your shopping cart.
No advertising cookies, and nothing that follows you to other sites.
Analytics
We measure traffic with Plausible, which is cookieless and keeps no personal data, and with PostHog, which we use to see how the public pages get used — which pages people land on, what they click, where things break. It runs on the public site only, never on staff tools, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles.
We email you about your own orders and submissions — that's the transaction, not marketing. If we ever start a newsletter it'll be something you opt into, and leaving will be one click.
Who else sees it
The companies that make the shop work: our hosting and database providers, Stripe for payments, and the carrier that delivers your cards. Each gets only what its job requires. We don't sell your information to anyone, ever, and we won't start.
We'll hand over data if the law actually requires it — a subpoena, not a polite request.
How long we keep it
Order and buylist records stick around as long as the books need them, because a purchase we made from you is an accounting record. Everything else we keep while your account is open. Ask us to delete what we can and we will.
Your say
Email tyler@weeatcards.com to see what we have about you, fix it, or have it deleted. No forms, no hoops. If you're in a place with specific privacy rights — California, the EU — those rights apply here and this is the address to use.
Kids
This shop isn't built for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. If that happened, tell us and it's gone.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Substantial changes get said out loud, not slipped in.
